The Setting Sun

Part of me died when I found that I lost my camera.

I then looked up at the sky, and soon realized that each day will close with the sun setting. The sun moves on, and it will continue to do so for quite some time, no matter what circumstances may come - a little wind, a strong typhoon, an eclipse.

And so shall you be able to move on, too.

This blog actually stemmed from my wish to take a photo of the same spot everyday, if only to see how a place can look the same, and yet look different each time. Of course, I started to notice a lot of other beautiful views so I got sidetracked, but I still do this sometimes.

I learned a word during science class one day, a word I'd adore and remember for the rest of my life. It reminds me of dainty feathers and brush strokes. It pertains to "a genus of atmospheric clouds generally characterized by thin, wispy strands"*.

In Plane Sight

I heard a noise coming from above, and saw a jet stream (maybe silver iodide or dry ice?). I don't normally get to see the vehicle that makes such a line in the sky, but I was lucky enough this time.

(Interestingly, after snapping the photo, I looked around to see people staring at the sky and seeing the plane too. Influential.)
